Toronto Real Estate: 6 Stunning Modern Homes

Toronto is a sprawling metropolis which provides a great deal of opportunity not only for those building their career but also the opportunity to access some of the most unique real estate available anywhere in Canada.  Most of the boroughs located outside of Toronto allow for an easy commute via the Go Train which takes you directly to the downtown core.  If you are looking for a home, you can choose from many excellent outlying areas around the main city, or within the City of Toronto itself.  We are going to take a look at eight homes that are currently for sale in the local area.

1. Stacked Townhome located at #9 – 11 Pine Street, Toronto

This adorable property is located in an area known as Brookhaven, and is merely 7 blocks away from the Weston Go Station.  From the moment you walk up on the front porch you feel instantly comfortable.  Each room in this townhome has been updated and painted professionally in recent years.  Many young couples struggle to break into the real estate market, but this affordable property is priced well within the first time home buyer range.  The home itself is located in a newer building and there are many windows that let the natural light in.   The drapery is custom, the appliances are new and double French doors lead you out to your own private balcony.  If you are looking for a fantastic home that needs nothing, this is the one. Property is listed on Comfree.

2. Amazing Leftover Lot Use at 70 Galley Avenue, Toronto

What does one do with a sliver of land that does not work for a conventional home?  Simple, they hire an architect to design a functional home that uses the space the best. Williamson Chong drew up a plan to utilize every square inch of this lot located in the desirable Roncesvalles area in an extremely tasteful way.  Inside the home, the spaces are airy and open, from a completely modern and amazing kitchen to a relaxing back yard.

3. Unique design at 22 Alfresco Lawn

The basic history of this home is that the property was purchased by a couple, Esther Cheong and Paul Fantauzzi.  They tore down the existing home and designed a new home based on what they believe home buyers want.  The home that now exists on the property is extremely appealing and provides a connection with the outdoors through the use of open space and natural light.  Some of the most interesting ideas include a door from the master bathroom that leads to a private patio and a walk in closet that features its own window.  This home is located near the Queen Street area of Downtown Toronto. Property recently listed on Paul Johnston.
