Colorful Accessories

I’ve been waiting for this sale at One Kings Lane, & picked up 4 these colorful pieces for spring. The first 2 pieces will be used as planters, the pink tray is for my desk, and blue tray for my keys.

The Selby – Auckland, NZ

I love the homes on The Selby because they are always so personal. They don’t look staged, are often cluttered and messy, yet still offer a lot of decor inspiration. This home in Auckland is one of my favorites in awhile!

I noticed white wall shelves in almost every room… i love the way they inexpensively organize all of the interesting collections of “stuff.” I am also really impressed by the red kitchen chairs. They even used one as a bedroom side table. LOVE that idea!

Clothespins

Clothespins have been used for over 100 years, but they seem to be trendier than ever. Instead of using them to hang clothing on a line, most are now using them to hang artwork, photography, & postcards. I love the idea of a long piece of twine or metal wire going across my office wall and hanging all of the inspiration that I rip out of my magazines.

Displaying Your Jewelry

How do you store your jewelry? Right now I store most of my favorite pieces of jewelry in a mahogany box. I love the idea of displaying it in a decorative way in my closet. My mom has A LOT of pretty beaded necklaces & bracelets and she hangs them on hooks on her closet door. Its really fun to browse her closet door for beads that match your outfit!
