Tufted Grey Couch

I have decided on a tufted grey couch for my new living room. I love the look of velvet, but it is not a requirement. This is one of my favorite inspiration pics. My goal is to find a couch UNDER $1500. There are so many options but I’ve narrowed it down to these 2. If anyone else has suggestions for an INEXPENSIVE but comfy sofa I’d love to see/hear about it.
If I go with a more modern sofa, #1 would be perfect!

I think I like the second one better. I’m not sure how I’d feel about the tall arms on the first one. However, they’re both gorgeous and if it was for me I’d have a hard time deciding.

I just ordered the martha stewart (2nd one) last night, it’s gorgeous but they said it can take up to 3 months to be delivered if that is a factor. I do like the dark gray inspiration one – that is really pretty. I think you would need a round table with the first one so it’s not too rigid looking.

I am in love with Chesterfields ever since seeing a yellow leather one on Craigslist once (gone before I finally exhaled). I also ended up ordering Martha’s and it’s on the way! If you order it in the store, you can pay $75 to have it covered in a “vintage gray” fabric instead of the stock fabric. Here are a couple more under $1500 I found in my search:

This one’s not a Chesterfield but modern vintage and definitely lovely. Comfortable? not so sure.

I saw the Martha Stewart option in person and it is beautiful as well as comfortable! My only suggestion would be to go in to a Macy’s that has it in stock and look at the fabric options. The “storm” is a greenish-gray and not at all what it looks like online. I have since then ordered swatches to make sure it will work in my living room.
