1890s restored greek home

This house is so interesting and beautiful. It was built in the 1890s on the greek island of Nisyros and was restored by the architect/owner George Koukourakis. Each room is painted a different, bold color & I love the mix of the modern furniture with antique pieces. (especially the tulip chairs in the dining room!) The original cement tile flooring is so interesting- it looks like some sort of a hologram. My absolute favorite room in the house is the kitchen. I love the old, country design & that huge bread oven!

  1. Fantastic place! I love the b&w, 3d effect tiles combined with all those colorful, retro furniture!

  2. Love this! The modern furniture is so unexpected and gives it a really fresh look. That blue sofa/lounger and the concrete floor are amazing
