i’ve never been to St Barts, but it looks like a beautiful vacation spot. i LOVE a home that brings the outdoors in – and this house does just that. the shower in the master bath looks AMAZING…and did you see the spectacular view? via nytimes.com

i saw these paper flowers on yatzer.com…i LOVE fresh flowers and am NOT a fan of fake flowers. these are definitely unique and interesting. designed by Sandra Bautista, they come in 32 different variations. would you use these in place of the real thing??

new things for the family room

a new throw for the couch. i am trying to soften the yellow color of the couch vs. have the couch reupholstered! see it here

and new curtains for the door to the deck (from the kitchen). now i just need a new curtain rod. i am actually thinking of spray painting the old bronze rod. i am going to try and pick up some silver metallic spray paint this weekend. i will post pictures if i DIY it!

stone house in Uruguay

did you see this amazing stone house on the New York Times? it is located in San Ignacio, Uruguay and has 20-foot ceilings, gorgeous concrete floors, and a beautiful outdoor area with pool. isn’t the dining room outstanding??
