decorating with ebay and flea market finds

A blue-framed Communion certificate from the 1930s was bought at a junk shop in France; the oval mirror came from a flea market nearby.

the dining table was made with materials left over from construction: Douglas fir, birch plywood and white Corian.

this house was built in 2001 (in London) on a 645-square-foot lot purchased for about $50,000. it is about 1,050-square-feet and after completing construction costed about $365,000.

the home has a mid century modern style…it feels so cozy to me! i really love the kitchen table and chairs! see more at nytimes.com
