do you use a tablecloth in your dining room? i am seeing them more and more – it seems like they are back in style. they add a nice vintage element to the room. here are some of my favorite looks from housebeautiful.com

Interior: 1 month house makeover

In just 4 weeks, TV host and lifestyle blogger Karen Bertelsen took her 170-year-old home from granny-ish to grand.

i was really excited to see Karen Bertelsen’s house tour on styleathome.com. i am a big fan of her blog, theartofdoingstuff.com.
i can’t believe she initially wanted to get rid of the antique bedroom furniture. i love it and love that she mixed in a modern rug and sidetable to “freshen up the room!”

Dramatic Houston House

i would never think to put a zebra patterned runner up the stairs, but it looks amazing in this house! there is a little too much grey for me, but it does seem to work.
